Foundation Names Omar A. Karim, Amaris Jones to Board of Trustees

The Lincoln University Foundation has announced two new members to its Board of Trustees: Omar A. Karim, Founder and CEO of Banneker Ventures, and Lincoln alum Amaris Jones '95, celebrity chef and founder of Chick 'N Jones. Harry O. Stinson III, Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the Foundation, said the additions strengthen the board's ability to think boldly about Lincoln's future. LINCOLN UNIVERSITY FILES SUIT AGAINST LOWER OXFORD TWP ORDINANCE

Lincoln University has filed suit against Lower Oxford Township over Ordinance 2026-02, seeking to stop restrictions on the First Amendment rights of students, faculty, administrators, and alumni. President Brenda A. Allen called it "a targeted, unconstitutional overreach that threatens the hallowed traditions ingrained in the university's foundation."
