Getting Here and Parking

Where is Homecoming held?

Homecoming events take place across the Lincoln University campus at 1570 Baltimore Pike, Lincoln University, PA. The Homecoming Football Game will take place at the Dr. Frank “Tick” Coleman Football Stadium. The Alumni Tailgate and Lion Fest will happen in the ICC Parking Lots.

Where do I park?

Guest Parking, which is included in the Homecoming Game Day Ticket Pass, will be allowed on outer campus grass field lot locations: 

  • Across from the Lincoln University Arch 
  • Across from the Student Union Building 
  • Across from the main entrance (Baltimore Pike) 
  • Near Baltimore Pike & Elkdale Drive

Once these areas are full, guests will be directed to off-campus parking with shuttle service: 
  • Jennersville YMCA (880 W Baltimore Pike, West Grove, PA) 
Guests parked at off-campus locations will be shuttled to campus and returned to their vehicles following the ceremony.
When does the Alumni Tailgate open?

The Alumni Tailgate and Lion Fest run Saturday, October 24 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the ICC Parking Lots (M).

Tickets and Admission

Do I need a ticket for every event?

No. Admission for each event is listed on the Schedule of Events pages.

Which events are students only?

The Students Schedule of Events details the Homecoming events that are students only.

Are tickets refundable?

No, all tickets are nonrefundable and final sale.

Where do I enter the football game?

There will be specific entry points to access the designated Homecoming areas on campus. More details to come. 

Game Day at Dr. Frank "Tick" Coleman Football Stadium

What time should I arrive?

Gates open at 10 a.m. for the Alumni Tailgate and Lion Fest, ahead of the 1 p.m. football game kickoff. Arriving early is recommended.

Is there a bag policy?

Yes. Bags will be checked prior to entering the campus. Clear bags are recommended.

What items are prohibited?

Outside food and drinks, alcohol, glass containers, weapons, drones, and large coolers are not permitted in the stadium.

Will food be available?

Yes. Food and merchandise vendors are open in Parking Lots P and Q and at the LLC Basketball Court from Thursday, October 22 at 9 a.m. through Saturday, October 24 at 8 p.m.

Accessibility

Is accessible parking available?

Accessible parking is available in designated spaces near campus buildings. A valid accessibility plate or placard is required.

Are venues wheelchair accessible?

Campus venues that are hosting Homecoming events are accessible by wheelchair. For specific accommodations, contact Special Events or Alumni Relations in advance.

Weather and Safety

What happens if it rains?

The Homecoming football game is a rain or shine event. For major weather conditions, updates will be shared on the university's social media accounts.

What should I do in an emergency?

Find the nearest public safety officer for more information.

Are events monitored by security?

Yes. Campus public safety and event staff are present throughout Homecoming week.
