Corporate Relations & Strategic Partnerships

As a vital component of the financial development function of the Division of Institutional Advancement, the Office of Corporate Relations & Strategic Partnerships (CRSP) bridges the gap between the strategic goals of Lincoln University and the philanthropic priorities of potential funders. In doing so, mutually-beneficial partnerships are developed that advance knowledge and have the potential to make a positive impact on the institution and in the world.

Mission

The Office of Corporate Relations & Strategic Partnerships will help decrease the University’s dependency on the revenue generated by student tuition, housing costs, and other fees, by increasing the revenue generated from the private and philanthropic sectors.

Objective

CRSP provides leadership to the University as we cultivate new, strengthen existing, and restore idle relationships with local, national, and global corporations, as well as local and national foundations, with the intent of soliciting financial investments that will benefit student success at Lincoln. CRSP will also provide additional awareness about student scholarships and other forms of financial resources that support scholastic achievement.

Support Services

CRSP assists the University community in securing the resources needed to achieve Lincoln’s mission and strategic plan, as well as divisional priorities as they relate to both. The office supports all phases of a project — from initial planning through project completion, including the proposal writing activities of the college’s faculty and staff, administration and reporting. CRSP provides the following support services for faculty and staff:

  • Budget preparation assistance
  • Fiscal liaison
  • Funder liaison
  • Funding research
  • Grants management & oversight
  • Material & information dissemination
  • Meeting facilitation
  • Project & proposal consultation
  • Proposal development & submission
  • Records keeping
  • Reporting
  • Stewardship accountability
