Lincoln University Foundation of Pennsylvania Welcomes New Leadership and Four New Board Members

Lincoln University, PA - June 30, 2025 - The Lincoln University Foundation of Pennsylvania, which serves as the philanthropic engine behind Lincoln University including the Lincoln University 1854 Promise Fund, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kwame Ulmer (B.S. ’96) as Chair of the Board and welcome four new board members Maurice Brewster (B.S. ’78), Ashley Gabb (B.S. ’08), Shawn Futch, and Thomas Queenan effective July 1, 2025.

Ulmer, a proud alumnus, and seasoned entrepreneur and philanthropist, solidified his role as a champion for Lincoln by joining the Board of Directors for the Foundation in February 2023. Ulmer will continue to shape the Lincoln Legacy and lead the Foundation as the new Chair of the Board. In addition to Ulmer’s appointment, the board is delighted to welcome four new board members who represent leadership in finance operations and social impact. The incoming board members are:

Maurice Brewster (B.S. ’78) is the Founder and CEO of Mosaic Global Transportation, a certified minority-owned international transportation company headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 20 years as an entrepreneur and more than two decades in corporate management, Brewster has built Mosaic into a multi-million-dollar business with a global fleet network serving clients from Silicon Valley to international markets. Brewster is a graduate of Lincoln University and holds executive education credentials from UCLA, Stanford, Dartmouth, and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Ashley Gabb (B.S. ’08) is the Founder and CEO of Gabb Consulting, LLC, a boutique management and strategy consultancy. Gabb has over 15 years of experience in communications, DEI, and supplier diversity. She previously led supplier inclusion strategies at Estée Lauder Companies and HP Inc., managing programs that generated over $300 million in diverse supplier spend, and served as the communications director at Lincoln University. Her work and civic engagement has been recognized by DiversityPlus Magazine’s Women in Power Impacting Diversity.  Gabb holds a Master of Laws in International Relations from Xiamen University in China and a B.S. in Communications from Lincoln University.

Shawn T. Futch, Jr. is a lead portfolio analyst at Brown Advisory, where he develops custom investment strategies for institutional clients, endowments, and private foundations. He has also served in strategic roles at Wells Fargo and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Deeply engaged in community leadership, Futch sits on several boards, including ChristianaCare Gesu School and 100 Black Men of Delaware. He holds an MBA from the University of Delaware and studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina.

Thomas Queenan is highly respected for his work in healthcare strategy, financial planning, and operations. Throughout his career, he has served in senior leadership roles at nonprofit and public institutions, including Mission First Housing Group, Temple University Health System, and the City of Philadelphia. He holds advanced degrees in business administration and architecture, and urban planning/design from the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University.
