At The Lincubator, we believe that every great business begins with a spark of creativity and a supportive ecosystem. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a diverse range of resources to learners, including iMac computers, 3D printers, virtual reality programming, music production, and graphic design tools, one-on-one business mentorships, practical entrepreneurial skills, and many more.
Complementing our innovative center are the iCafé and Culture Studios, each designed to empower students with invaluable skills and experiences.
The iCafé, run and operated by Lincoln University students, serves as a hub for community engagement, offering snacks and beverages from esteemed external business partners such as Rap Snacks. With a unique profit-sharing model, the iCafé reinvests its earnings to enhance services and expand its network of partners, providing valuable opportunities for students to learn practical skills in bookkeeping, sales, marketing, and management.
The Culture Studios, located within the Student Union Building, is equipped with industry-standard pre-production and production facilities, enabling students to unleash their creativity and pursue their passion for music production and streaming. From the pre-production studio in Dickey Hall to the full production studio, The Culture Studios become a springboard for entrepreneurial ventures in the world of music.
Beyond making successful entrepreneurs in different industries, Lincubator also serves as a platform for job creation, workshops, and certification programs. Our external partnerships with prominent businesses and organizations, both domestically and internationally, open doors to a world of opportunities for our Lincubates.
We select individuals through a transparent and competitive process analysing their interests, abilities, and passion for entrepreneurship. To become a part of our thriving community (a lincubate), aspirants must submit an application to access our services, curriculum, and equipments. Once accepted as "Lincubates," they embark on a structured curriculum designed to optimize their utilization of our resources while honing their business acumen.
