  • I am most proud of persevering throughout this educational journey as it was not easy especially during my student teaching experience. It was there that that I learned to use my conflict resolution techniques in which I earned from my previous Master's Degree which taught me Mahatma Gandhi's principal of fighting back adversity with love & honing peace and "being the change that I wish to see in the world".

Plans during the first two years after graduation:

I intend to get an additional certification added to my licensure to further help underserved populations of people to have access to educational resources and as well as exceptional strategies in instruction and curricula. My gifts are in humor, reading and writing in which I taught my very own self how to read at the age of 4. I would like to publish books about my thoughts about life philosophies with a twist of humor.

Closing words of wisdom to the students next in line to graduate and those coming into the fold as first-year students.

I love education and it has saved my life. I truly abide by the philosophy "Give me Education or Give me Death", I can't have that any other way because knowledge is the key to success, it is the key to wholeness in your mind, body and soul and it is truly sharper than any double edge sword... Education is most essential key to life. If you have someone trying to stop you from dreaming or obtaining self freedom no matter who or what that person is, the best way you can defeat your opponent is by feeding your mind/intellect with useful knowledge and information and learning how to comprehend and use that very thing that they don't want to you to understand and master. People can take away many things from you but they can never take away your education. Education can knock down socioeconomic barriers, race barriers, self barriers, it can stop generational curses and it can ignite and start a revolution of positive change. "I think not, therefore I know not" Renee Descartes--. Walking into college as a freshman is the most profound start of something amazing. So please "Give me Education or Give me Death!"As I be the change that I wish to see in this ever changing world"- - - Grace Holt~ w~ Mahatma Gandhi****

Closing words of wisdom to the students next in line to graduate and those coming into the fold as first-year students.

Always remember to be true to who you are. Never let anyone change you, or make you feel less than because you chose to go another route. Never be afraid to walk alone! Say YES more than NO, you never know when it'll be your last chance. Lastly, enjoy these years while you can, they will go by fast!
