Commencement Day: Know Before You Go

Guest Parking

Parking will begin on campus in the following grass field locations: 

• Across from the Lincoln University Arch 

• Across from the Student Union Building 

• Across from the main entrance (Baltimore Pike) 
• Near Baltimore Pike & Elkdale Drive 

Find our campus map here. 

Once these areas are full, guests will be directed to off-campus parking with shuttle service: 

• Primary: Chrisitana Professional Medical complex (1011 W. Baltimore Pike, West Grove, PA) 
• Secondary: Jennersville YMCA (880 W Baltimore Pike, West Grove, PA) 

Guests parked at off-campus locations will be shuttled to campus and returned to their vehicles following the ceremony.

Seating Information

Seating in the main ceremony tent is first come, first served. The tent will open to guests at 8:00 AM. We ask that all guests are seated by 10:30 AM for the start of the procession. We encourage you to arrive early and allow extra time for parking and transportation. 

Once capacity is reached, guests will be directed to remote viewing locations: 

• Wellness Center 

• Dickey Hall 

• Student Union Building 

• Mary Dod Brown Chapel

Baccalaureate Location: Mary Dod Brown Chapel

Rehearsal Start Time: 12:30 pm 

Rehearsal Location: Niara Sudarkasa International Cultural Center Lobby & Auditorium, Pavilion

Sunday May 3 - SACE Graduates

Rain or Shine Location: Niara Sudarkasa International Cultural Center Pavilion

Check-In Time: 8:30am 

Rain or Shine Check-In Location: Niara Sudarkasa International Cultural Center Lobby 

Processional Begins: 10:30am 

Ceremony Begins: 11:00am 

 

Sunday May 3 - Main Campus Graduates

Rain or Shine Location: Niara Sudarkasa International Cultural Center Pavilion

Check-In Time: 9:00am 

Check-In Location: LU Football Stadium (Main Entrance & Concourse) 

Rain Check-In Location: Niara Sudarkasa International Cultural Center Auditorium  

Processional Begins: 10:30am

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Steve Perry, an internationally recognized educator, author, and founder of Capital Preparatory Schools, will deliver the keynote address at Lincoln University's 167th Commencement on Sunday, May 3.
