Dr. Hope Dameron

Dr. Hope Elizabeth Dameron, DBA, MBA

Dr. Hope Elizabeth Dameron received a BS in Business from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an MBA in Finance from Temple University, and a DBA in Financial Management from Northcentral University. Presently, she is an Associate Professor of Finance and Chair of the Department of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her appointment at Lincoln University, Dr. Dameron accumulated many years of clinical experience in the field of finance, accounting, and management. Working with businesses that ranged from private owned to Fortune 500 international companies, she held many financial roles. Dr. Dameron has a personal passion to provide effective financial literacy curriculum to both adults and children. She previously taught budgeting and finance courses to adult learners, has conducted research at local high schools, and created new personal finance curriculum for Lincoln University students. In line with continuing this passion to promote financial literacy, Dr. Dameron has presented research at the Annual Conference on Financial Education. Her doctoral thesis “Assessing High School Students’ and Teachers’ Experiences in Finance Curricula” was copyrighted and published. Dr. Dameron also published an article, “Reimagining Personal Finance Curricula: The Reach of HBCUs And the Power of Storytelling” through her research efforts as an Arthur Vining Davis Faculty Fellow. Dr. Dameron serves on several Faculty Committees at Lincoln University and is a Faculty Advisor for several student organizations. She is a member of the Delta Mu Delta – International Honor Society in Business, the National Society of Leadership and Success, Philadelphia Women Leaders, and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). Dr. Dameron enjoys mentoring current students enrolled at Lincoln University and meeting with potential future students.

Dr. Phillips is a macroeconomist currently teaching finance and economics courses.   Chéri recently taught at SUNY Cortland (NY).  Previously she has taught at Lipscomb University (TN), Lane College (TN) and Shandong University of Science & Technology in Jinan, People's Republic of China.  Her teaching philosophy is to empower and prepare students for their respective job markets or entrepreneurship aspirations. She is a Duke University DITE Fellow.  She’s taught additional Business courses including Leadership in Ethics, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Fundamentals of International Business (Undergraduate, Graduate), Personal Financial Management, Money & Banking, Managerial Economics, International Trade Theory, Principles of Entrepreneurship, and International Economics Trade & Finance. Chéri Phillips currently sits on three nonprofit boards (CCSI Nashville, East Jackson Community Empowerment Program, and the Deb Moss Project).  She holds memberships with the American Economic Association, National Economic Association, and NABA, Inc.  Chéri is also the Chief Economist for The Black 10K Project and a labor economics researcher for The Table Action.

Prof. David Elliott, MBA

As an innovator, Mr. Elliott has developed a cutting-edge curriculum that integrates real-world challenges into the classroom. His teaching methods combine traditional lectures with experiential learning, case studies, and simulations, creating an immersive and engaging educational experience for his students. Mr. Elliott is also an accomplished business developer with extensive success achieving and surpassing goals. Mr. Elliott is an influential communicator adept at building trust and rapport with business prospects that foster strong account relationships. Mr. Elliott's research interest explores name, image, & likeness (NIL) solutions to educate, empower and equip all stakeholders in the collegiate athletics ecosystem. Through an unwavering dedication to education, innovation, and industry collaboration, Mr. Elliott has cemented a position as a prominent figure in the world of business and academia.

 Esq.Devin Uqdah

Teaches Accounting, Business Law, and Tax. He is an attorney and former accountant. He was raised in Philadelphia and graduated from the Philadelphia Public School System. He attended La Salle University and Temple University Beasley School of Law. His passion for business and legislation led him to study accounting and law. In addition to teaching, Professor Uqdah is a partner at a law firm and the Chief Financial Officer of a Non-Profit. Of the many hats Professor Uqdah wears, molding the minds of our next generation of business leaders is the most important.

Dr. Mehran Asadi

Mehran Asadi obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Asadi scholarly interests include machine learning, hierarchical reinforcement learning, security in mobile ad-hoc networks, and online social networks. He has presented his research at several national and international conferences. Dr. Asadi is a Full Professor at Lincoln University, PA's Department of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies, teaching Information Systems Management. He also served as the interim chair of the department. Before that, he was an Assistant Professor at the West Chester University of Pennsylvania and recipient of several grants from the College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of Multicultural Faculty. He was also principal Investigator (PI) for a grant from Hewlett Packard for “Active Collaborative Learning Community Using HP Tablet PCs” and Co-PI for a grant from the National Science Foundation in “Wireless Sensor Networks and Security in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks.” He served as the director of the Center of Excellence for Information Assurance and as director of Internship in Computer Science at West Chester University. He has served as a program committee member for several national and international conferences, as an editorial board member for national journals, and as a reviewer for several national and international journals, such as the Journal of Information Science; he has also contributed as a reviewer for the handbook of computer networks by John Wiley and Sons.  In addition, in 2018, he was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for advancing computer and information science education.
