LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA — August 28, 2026 — Lincoln University of Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the adoption of Knack, an innovative peer tutoring platform designed to enhance academic support and promote student success. This strategic addition reflects the University’s continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality academic resources for all students.
Knack is a mobile-first platform that connects students with trained peer tutors for on-demand and scheduled tutoring sessions. Through this new partnership, Lincoln University aims to broaden opportunities for academic assistance by meeting students where they are—both academically and technologically.
Importantly, Knack will not replace existing tutoring services offered through the University. Instead, it will supplement and strengthen current efforts, providing an additional, flexible layer of support to ensure students have greater access to the help they need to thrive.
“This initiative represents another meaningful step in our ongoing work to support student achievement and retention,” said Dr. Kimberly Smith, Vice President of Student Succes and Dean of the College. “By integrating Knack into our ecosystem of academic resources, we are expanding access to peer-based learning and creating more opportunities for students to succeed.”
Knack’s peer tutoring model empowers students to learn collaboratively, fostering both academic growth and leadership development. Tutors are typically fellow students who have demonstrated excellence in specific subject areas, reinforcing a culture of shared learning and academic engagement across campus.
“Our goal is to remove barriers to academic success. Knack allows us to extend tutoring beyond traditional formats, offering students more convenient, personalized support that complements the strong foundation we already have in place,” states Dr. Smith on the importance of access and flexibility in student support services.
Students will be able to access Knack through a user-friendly app, where they can search for tutors by subject, schedule sessions, and receive real-time assistance. The platform is designed to be intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the needs of today’s learners.
