Bachelor of Human Services (BHS)/FLEX (BS, BA)

Are you ready to take your human services career to the next level? Then the Bachelor of Human Services (BHS) Program, also known as the BHS/FLEX Program, is for you.

This unique program offers an accelerated bachelor's degree for adult learners who work in the human services field. It's taught at Lincoln University’s School of Adult and Continuing Education (SACE) at our University City location, conveniently found on Philadelphia’s Avenue of Technology corridor one block from Amtrak’s 30th Street Train Station.

Our proven and tested Human Services undergraduate degree program serves as the foundation for the BHS/FLEX Program. All required core courses and major requirements have been incorporated, with minor modifications, to accommodate your work-related experience. This program is further distinguished by its adult-centered approach to learning where high academic standards are maintained while offering a personal academic plan of study for each student.

To take part in this program, you must be currently employed in human services with at least one year of work experience in the field. Credits earned from previous academic studies and professional experience will allow you to apply for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credit toward your degree. Students who transfer more than 60 approved credit hours from another institution must meet the residency requirement of at least 30 credit hours, including 15 credits in human services major subjects.
