Dr. Aqeel R. Dix hold a bachelor’s degree in biology from West Chester University (2006), a Master’s in Public Health from West Chester University (2007) and Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership and Innovation from Wilmington University (2015). Dr. Dix began his career in Public Health at the Health Promotion Council; during his tenure there he served as a Program Manager, where he was responsible for developing online learning toolkits for clinical practitioners as well as health education portals and trainings, capacity building, creating formative research protocols, program management and integrating chronic disease and wellness programs. In the fall of 2014, he decided to follow his passion and enter academia. Dr. Dix prides himself on serving minority students and pushing them to achieving their highest potential. Dr. Dix’s areas of research are men’s health and health disparities.
