The Writer's Studio: Lincoln University's Writing Center
We are currently planning and building The Writer's Studio, which will be Lincoln University's Writing Center. We envision the Writer's Studio as the hub for writing resources on campus. Students can get handouts, attend workshops, receive peer tutoring, or just come in and write! The Writer's Studio will be located in room B-3 in the basement of the newly renovated University Hall. Right now we are also planning to offer ongoing Faculty and staff workshops, technical support for the LU e-Portfolio Project and writing support for our Writing Intensive Courses at Lincoln.
Some of the resources the Writing Studio will provide are:
- A Writing Resource Library with over 200 print resources for writing.
- Over 100 Writing Handouts for Students, Faculty and Staff.
- Drop-In Peer and Professional Tutoring
- 20+ Word processing Workstations
- Smart classroom technology for classes and workshops.
