Professor Johnson has performed and still performs professionally with numerous musicians from a diverse group of genres:  Lou Rawls, the Temptations, The Spinners, Frank Foster (Conductor and Lead Saxophonist of the Count Basie Orchestra), “Dizzy” Gillespie, Joe Sample (Keyboardist for “The Jazz Crusaders”) and Fred Wesley (formerly of the James Brown Review), Eric Robeson, Thomas A. Dorsey, Marvin Sapp, Dorenda Clark Cole.
