  • Must be eligible to receive at least $1200 in Federal Work Study (See Ms. Bailey)
  • Upperclassmen
  • Must have cumulative 2.5 GPA or above
  • Must have reliable transportation

Arts & Humanities Assistant

Position Description:   Students will assist with organizing files, signing students up for Theater programs, costume and set work, work directly with children and parents in theater, and general duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required:
    Must be reliable, mature, responsible, and dependable.  Must have a friendly and engaging personality; and enjoy working with children.  Must be computer literate and knowledgeable about Microsoft Excel and Word.
Hours:  Tuesday & Wednesday 5pm-8pm (mandatory), other hours available during day; flexible.

Early Childhood Learning Center Assistant

Position Description:   Students will help facilitate and plan music, gym, and Spanish (possibly) in pre-K classes.  Materials and training will be provided.

    Must be reliable, mature, responsible, and dependable.  Must have a friendly and engaging personality; and enjoy working with children.  Must have excellent communications skills with both children and adults.
Hours:  Monday-Friday (flexible)

Position Description:   Student will maintain a risk-free and safe environment for children; change diapers as needed, greet children and parents.  
Skills and Abilities Required:
    Must be reliable, mature, responsible, and dependable.  Must have a friendly and engaging personality; and enjoy working with children.  Must have excellent communications skills with both children and adults.  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Position Description:   Students will greet all guests entering the building by scanning cards, answer inquiries, monitor traffic in lobby and direct members to appropriate areas.
Skills and Abilities Required:
    Must have strong computer skills, excellent customer service skills, be reliable, mature, responsible, and dependable.  Must have a friendly and engaging personality; and enjoy working with children.  Must be computer literate and knowledgeable about Microsoft Excel and Word.  Spanish skills a plus!
Hours:  Job 1:  Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 4pm-7pm; Sunday 10am-pm  Job 2:  Tuesday, Thursday 4pm-7pm; Saturday 10am-2pm, also flexible.

Teacher’s Assistant

Position Description:   Assist Teacher with children aged 18 months-5 years old with direct supervision of children of indoor/outdoor activities, preparing materials for lessons, setting up or cleaning up projects.
