Student Employment Program Important Program Dates

Fall 2013

September 3, 2013	Program Begins First Day to Start Work
September 17, 2013	Students awarded Federal Work Study must be job placed or they will lose their FWS award.
December 6, 2013	Program Ends Last Day to Work

Spring 2013

January 8, 2014	Program Begins First Day to Return to Work
January 22, 2014	Students awarded Federal Work Study for the Spring must be job placed or they will lose their FWS award
April 17, 2014	Last Day to Work Program Ends
April 13-19, 2014	National Student Employment Week

IMPORTANT PROGRAM DEADLINES TO REMEMBER

• Students have 3 days after receiving a Request to Hire Form from Supervisor to receive their Student Employment Contractual Agreement.
• Students have 3 days after receiving their Student Employment Contractual Agreement to report to work.  Failure to report to work on or before the agreed upon start date may result in cancellation of contractual agreement.
