The Lair, which is the university’s recreational facility, is located on the lower level of Manuel Rivero Hall. Students who frequent this facility will be given the opportunity to engage in the various games and activities, such as bowling and pool, and participate in the numerous tournaments that are held within the facility. It is also here that the sign up and planning meetings are held for our Jackson-Smallman and Nathaniel Brooks Intramural Tournaments. The Jackson-Smallman Tournament is our intramural football tournament held in the fall semester and our Nathaniel Brooks Tournament is our basketball intramural program held in the spring. Both are open for the entire university community to participate and enjoy. The Lair provides an exceptional area for students to assemble outside the Residence Halls – whether it is to enjoy music, movies or the like.
