Currently the university has over thirty active student organizations, including the various Pan-Hellenic, national, civil and professional developmental associations. The Office of Student Life and Development coordinates the calendar of student organization activities, and ensures that the programming provided is coordinated within university guidelines and that the appropriate facilities are secured and materials are posted in the proper areas. Each academic year, organizations are required to register with the office providing membership, advisor, mission statements and constitutional information. Student organizations are also expected to complete a minimum of one service project per academic year, all of which is monitored and recorded in this office.
