Students who have an interest in joining a Pan Hellenic
or Social Fellowship organization must meet the following
criteria:
1.
Be a full-time student.
2.
Have a minimum of 30 credits.
3.
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50
as of the date that names are submitted to Student Life
and Development by the organization/s of interest. The
Office of Student Life and Development shall certify scholastic
standing of prospective members.
4.
Be cleared financially by the Bursar as of the date names
are submitted to Student Life and Development by the organization/s
of interest.
5.
Have no conduct infractions on file in the Office of the
Dean of Students and Campus Life.
6.
Participate in a minimum of 1-2 (varies each year) Community
Service or Service Learning projects approved by the Office
of Student of Student Life and Development or by the individual.
These projects are either office-sponsored or are coordinated
by an individual student. The office provides transportation
to office-sponsored projects and the projects are generally
one-time projects. Sign up dates are advertised with each
project via Lincoln University email only! Students must
sign up in office. For projects coordinated by students
individually, students must visit the office before the
project takes place to gain approval in advance.
7.
Must attend at least one of the Campus Wide Information
Sessions for all active University sororities, fraternities,
and social fellowships, which is scheduled twice in the
academic year (once in Fall, once in Spring) by the Office
of Student of Student Life and Development. The 2008-2009
dates for those sessions are August 25, 2008 and January
15, 2009.
8.
Must attend the interest meeting of the organization you
are seeking membership into (during the same academic
year).
All
of these requirements must be satisfied for approval of
clearance prior to participation in any organization’s
intake process.
