The Student
Government Association (SGA) of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania
is devoted to being student-centered in serving, representing and
advocating for student tights. It is primarily composed of three
branches: executive, legislative and judicial. ‘Within the
Constitution of SGA, provisions are made to ensure that we serve
as a vehicle whereby leadership skills are exercised through practical
application in order to reinforce thc academic mission of Lincoln
University. Regulating student affairs and promoting harmony between
those within the university community, such as administration, faculty,
staff, students, alumni, trustees and other Historically Black Colleges
and Universities, is also important.
During rhe 2007-08 academic year, the SGA administration intends
to stress the "Enriching the World Around Us " motto,
which illustrates the joint effort from the aforementioned persons
to see that the year is a success. Within the year, there are imperative
meetings and committees that ensue to discuss and manage the issues
facing the students and general University community. These include
and are not limited to: Student Body, Senate, Faculty and Board
of Trustees meetings, Food Services, Residential Life and Evaluations
committee(s).
