FOR THE SESQUICNTENNIAL ORATORICAL CONTEST Sponsored by: The Lincoln

for the Sesquicentennial Talent Competitions This
presentation should reflect any phase of Lincoln University during its one hundred
and fifty years of existence. The student may present on Lincoln
University's History, Presidents, Professors, Students and/or any of the issues
with which Lincoln University has been confronted since its existence. All
applicants must indicate their desire to compete by signing up in the Office of
Special Events and Community Relations, Lincoln Hall, Room 209. The deadline for
applications is January 15, 2004. Please submit a copy of your composition
to Ms. Merrie Lee Bolesta, Vail Hall, Room 217, by February 12, 2004 (one
week prior to judging). DATE OF CONTEST: Thursday, February
19, 2004 LOCATION: Dickey Hall Auditorium ATTIRE:
Business Winners will be officially announced in April
2004. The first place winner will offer his/her speech at the All-University Student
Honors Convocation. Evaluation Criteria: - Creativity
