· Questions regarding the proposed course as part of the core curriculum or as an elective to satisfy science requirements in all departments and still to be resolved.

· There were also suggestions to offer the course as a seminar. Basic writing skills and education courses would be prerequisites for taking the course.

Core Curriculum

· Dr. Royer informed faculty that the Core Curriculum Committee was concerned about mathematics courses above college Algebra. The terminal or highest level of mathematics required in each major will be discussed. · The other issue is that of a second non-laboratory science course.
