Committee on New Science Building
Professor Barimani reported on the committee meeting of November 3, 2003. Physics provided a proposal about their space requirement. Other departments were still calculating their requirements. Questions relating to the location of Math and Computer Science were asked. It was decided that the Committee should first calculate the minimum space required with justification. A possible "U" shaped building was suggested. The future of Grim and Wright Halls was discussed. Many members preferred keeping Wright Hall. All classrooms in the new building will be smart classrooms and the Auditorium should seat 500 people.
