The Dean thanked all faculty, students and administration for their support and participation in the celebration.  He reported that everything went very well and that NASA had given to Lincoln University the sum of $25,000 to cover costs for the day’s activities as well as seed money for research activities.  Two suggestions were made about the use of the seed money:  summer faculty cooperation and affiliation with Goddard Institute.

Strategic Plan:
The Dean reported that only one faculty member provided input on the recently circulated strategic plan for the Academic Division.  He urged the rest to provide input in writing.
