Minutes of the December 3, 2002 Cabinet Meeting were approved.
Library and Living-Learning Center Dining Hall Carpet for the Library was chosen. Initially, the basement and main floor of the Library will receive new carpet. Tile for the Living Learning Center Dining Hall was also selected from samples provided. The new floor will be installed during the Holiday break, providing the contractor is able to schedule the project during this time.

Report of AD Hoc Core Curriculum Committee The Ad Hoc Core Curriculum Committee has submitted to the Vice President for Academic Affairs the proposed core curriculum for the University. The proposal includes reducing the current 49 credit requirement to 41 credit requirement. The Committee's proposal will allow Lincoln's students more opportunities for class selection, the taking of electives and the possibility of pursuing a minor and/or a double major. The standing Curriculum Committee will review the proposal before any further steps are taken to institutionalize the proposed changes.
Fiscal Affairs Preparations for the development of the 2003-2004 Operating Budget will be initiated this month. Department heads and directors will be asked to make proposed changes to their departmental budgets and return all updated budget information to their respective Vice President or Dean by February 15, 2003.
