PA Senate Budget Hearing - Lincoln University has been scheduled to present its 2002-2003 Budget Request to the Senate Appropriation Committee, Tuesday, February 26, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. in Harrisburg.

Thurgood Marshall Living-Learning Center (LLC) Piping Failure - Leaks in the pipes of the sanitary system at the LLC have been discovered.  Bids for the project are due 12/11/01, so repairs to the pipes can be made during the holiday break.  Costs for repairing the pipes could run as much as $50,000.  The Director of Physical Plant has been in contact with the Department of General Services to see if the Department can provide assistance in fixing this problem.

Violence in the Workplace Policy - The Cabinet approved a "Violence in the Workplace" policy for the University, effective December 10, 2001.  The policy will help to ensure the maintenance of a safe working environment for the University's employees.
