ACADEMIC AFFAIRS

Admissions criteria – Dr. Nelson stressed the importance of maintaining our enrollment numbers for fall 2011.  SAT score requirements for admittance to Lincoln University were discussed for fall 2011, Summer Bridge, and Spring 2012.  Students who do not meet the requirements for admittance in the fall will receive a letter of admittance to the Summer Bridge program, providing their SAT scores fall within the cut-off level.  The criteria may be revisited if situations warrant.

College Textbook Policies Advisory Committee – Recent legislation establishing a College Textbook Policies Advisory Committee as a standing committee of the State Board of Education also provides for a faculty member from Lincoln University to serve on the 23-memer Advisory Committee.  Dr. Venerable will recommend the faculty person for President Nelson’s consideration and submission.
