President’s Cabinet Meeting
December 6, 2004

Attendees:  President Ivory V. Nelson, Vice President Michael B. Hill, Vice President William B. Bynum, Vice President Howard E. Merlin, Dean John O Chikwem and Ms. Diane M. Brown.

Minutes of November 30, 2004 Cabinet meeting were approved.

Personal Solicitations
The University’s campus-wide email address system is not to be used to disseminate personal solicitations.  The University mailroom is also not to be used for this purpose.

Strategic Plan
Updates/revisions to the University Strategic Plan should be received in the Office of the President by January 7, 2005.  

Graduation Requirements
President Nelson will send a letter to parents so that they are clear on the University’s requirements that must be met in order for students to be able to participate in the Commencement exercises in May.

Academic Affairs
The Cabinet discussed the topic of establishing curriculum structure for undergraduate programs.  This matter has been presented to the Deans for their review and input.

Spring 2005 Admissions Statistics
A total of 82 new students have been admitted to Lincoln University for the Spring 2005 Session.  Thirty of those students admitted have paid their deposit to the University.

There being no further business, President Nelson adjourned the meeting at 5:00 p.m.
