Mediations with the Faculty Union will resume on Tuesday, December 2, 2003. Faculty participating in the strike are not permitted on the campus. In addition, a court issued injunction prohibits, among other things, mass picketing. It also prohibits patrolling at the entrances or exits of external campus entrances, buildings, facilities or premises in numbers greater than two (2) pickets.
The Cabinet discussed several grading options should the faculty strike continue through the end of the semester. The options presented were believed to cover every circumstance, which may be presented. The Vice President for Academic Affairs will discuss the options with the Deans and reach a final determination on the option(s) to be administered.
