President's Cabinet Meeting

The Cabinet approved the minutes of the November 3, 2003 meeting.
Developments regarding Faculty Contract Negotiations/Strike
The Cabinet reviewed actions taken in response to the faculty strike, which commenced on Friday, November 7th. The President commended the Cabinet and other members of the Administration for their handling of the situation in his absence.
On Friday, the University filed a legal motion to halt the strike and require the faculty to continue mediations with the Administration. The Vice President for Academic Affairs and University Legal Counsel were scheduled to appear before the judge at 9:00 AM Monday morning regarding the University's legal motion
Lincoln University's 2003-2004 Salary Budget
The University's 2003-2004 budget for salaries has been established according to the position control documents reviewed and approved by the Vice Presidents. The Vice Presidents were asked to make a final review of the "restricted salaries" in their areas in order for Human Resources to finalize the salary budget.
The Cabinet meeting was adjourned at 10:30 AM.
