Office of the President - Audit and Control
General Review and Assessment of IT. The Internal Auditor completed
a general review and overall assessment of the Information Technology Department
(IT). The Vice President for Fiscal Affairs will begin to monitor
work plans and implementation as resources and time permits.
Academic Affairs
The Office of Academic Affairs is forwarding the 2001-02 annual appointment
letters to the Faculty.
Course Evaluations will be forwarded to University students before Thanksgiving.
Development and External Relations
Faculty members contributing more than $1000 to the University in FY
2000-01 will receive The President’s Certificate of Appreciation at the
November Faculty Meeting.
Student Affairs
Approximately 300 people, mostly seniors, attended Fall Open House
this year, as opposed to approximately 200 last year (mostly underclassmen).
The University is close to a resolution with PHEAA regarding the Financial Aid matters.
The Career Service Center should provide by September, annual placement
reports of graduates, by discipline. The Academic Deans have been
asked to provide this information in their annual reports to the Academic
Vice President.
