Fire in Ware Center October 28, 2004
The President will send a letter to Mr. Kareem Douglas thanking him for his
efforts in extinguishing a fire on the stage in Ware Center.
Engaging HBPCUs in DOE Procurements
Dr. Venerable will share with the faculty a Memorandum from the Office for
the Advancement of Public Black Colleges regarding the engagement of HBPCUs
in DOE-sponsored research programs. The OAPBC/NASULGC will be working
closely with senior procurement officials to create a procurement process
that will produce more favorable outcomes for HBPCUs in terms of DOE grants,
contracts and partnerships with national laboratories.
