meeting.
MINUTES
Cabinet minutes of October 20,
2009, were approved.
PHYSICAL
PLANT BRIEFING
Mr.
Thompson provided an update on the status of facilities projects. The following items were discussed at a
recent major construction meeting

Modified construction entrance
(between
University Hall and Ware
Center) for access
to
Quad area
·
Signage for identifying capital
projects in
progress
·
Entrance at new dorm and science
building
·
Projected groundbreaking in March
2010 for Wellness
Center ($35
million), landscaping ($15
million), athletic fields ($15 million), Langston Hughes Memorial
Library ($7
million), Wright Hall ($8 million) and Grim Hall ($6 million) projects
PRESIDENT
The University’s H1N1
“Preparedness Plan” was distributed to members of Cabinet.
Copies will be distributed to offices
campus-wide.
STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT
Vice President Briggs was asked
to bring recommended revisions to Lincoln’s
scholarship requirements to the Cabinet for review.
Copies of the “Public Safety
2009-2010” brochure were distributed.
