of the October 20, 2011 Cabinet Meeting were approved.
PRESIDENT
Board
Organizational Priorities – Discussion
continued on plans for achieving the recent priorities outlined by the Board of
Trustees leadership. President Nelson
stressed the importance of everyone working together to achieve the goals.
Program
Accreditation
– President Nelson requested a 2-page plan/timeline to achieve accreditation of
targeted programs. This includes the
Education program.
Assessment:

Resources – A letter will be issued to
faculty requesting that they list and prioritize resources they will need to
implement their planned actions contained in their 2010-2011 assessment
reports.
College Cost – President Nelson asked that
the appropriate offices take steps to ensure that Lincoln University is in
compliance with the federal law requiring all college websites to have an online
tool to give students and families a more accurate estimate of real costs. The law goes into effect October 29.

Hill discussed the accomplishments and plans submitted by Directors of the
Centers of Excellence in Mass Communications and Business and Entrepreneurial
Studies.
VICE PRESIDENT
FOR FISCAL AFFAIRS
Enrollment/Revenue - VP Merlin discussed the FY12
Enrollment and FY12 1st Semester Revenue reports as of October 24,
2011. According to the data, actual
enrollment stands at 2,145 v. the budget number of 2,327 (down by 182
students).
BHS/FLEX Program
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Fee
- The Prior Learning Assessment Fee established for the BHS/FLEX program was
inadvertently omitted in the 2011-2012 Operational Budget approved by the Board
of Trustees. Vice President Merlin will
address the necessary change with the Business Affairs Committee of the Board.
