retention issues. Academic Affairs must look at possible ways to address
this need in their budgets.
Student Activities
President Nelson informed the group that he had participated in two very
impressive student events over the weekend, the School of Natural Sciences
and Mathematics 10th Annual Science Fair held on Saturday, October 15th and
the Mr. and Miss Lincoln Coronation, which took place on Sunday. Both
events were exceptionally well organized and appropriately cast and our students
represented themselves in an impeccable manner.

Center facility in Philadelphia, grants and sponsored programs, the Barnes/Lincoln
collaborative and the Lincoln Legacy Awards Program.

It has been determined that 12 students will be dismissed due to their unmet
financial responsibilities.

The division has scheduled assessment and planning workshops next week for
strategic planning.
