Commonwealth's 2001-2002 Budget - The Commonwealth has notified the University that 1% ($130,000) of its 2001-02 operating budget appropriation has been placed into the Commonwealth's $200 million budgetary reserve. The University's regular schedule of payments from the Commonwealth will not be impacted at this time. However, the last payment will be reduced if it is determined that the Commonwealth must retain the amounts placed in budgetary reserve.
Fiscal Affairs
The division will work with the development office to investigate the
possibility of implementing a direct deposit procedure to receive contributions
from alumni and other individuals outside the campus.
Development and External Relations
A presentation on the 100% Faculty/Staff Giving Campaign was made to
faculty at their October 9th meeting. The first stage of the campaign
will also involve meetings at the departmental level to encourage 100 percent
staff and faculty participation.
