Minutes of September 25, 2007 Cabinet meeting were approved.
Colleague Student
Implementation Plan 2007-2008
Cabinet was presented with the COLLEAGUE STUDENT
Implementation Plan 2007-2008, which includes a timeline, project
structure,
roles and responsibilities, issues, data cleanup and a list of
questions/issues
which have been raised during the implementation of the system. The vice presidents have been charged with
identifying
and/or developing policies to address the questions so that the process
for the
implementation of the Colleague Student information system can move
forward.

Street Graduate Center
President Nelson reiterated that Lincoln University
needs to vacate the 1st floor no later than December 15,
2007. Vice President Hill will coordinate
the move
with the directors of physical plant and information technology.
Student Affairs and Enrollment
Management
The university’s emergency response team is currently
working to combine the “Emergency Response Manual” and the “Crisis
Response
Manual” into one document. The Committee
will meet again on October 4th.
The combined document will be presented to Cabinet at a meeting
during
the month of October.
The emergency response plans will include notification
through the use of cell phones. A campus
warning siren has been ordered for installation atop of the Langston
Hughes
Memorial Library. A text message warning
system is also to be a part of the emergency response plan.
The University has been informed that the Lincoln University
Upward Bound program will be funded for four years at $470,699/year. We anticipate receipt of official
notification in the near future.
Vice President Bynum informed the group that the Police
Union contract has not yet been ratified by the membership.
