President's Cabinet Meeting

Physical Plant Update - The following buildings are in need of repairs to their roofs: Cresson Hall, Ware Center, and Gym (in progress). Repairs to the Library roof are nearly complete. Boiler Plant Renovations are near completion.

U.S. Department of Education - Collection of Campus Crime Statistics - The Department will begin collecting campus crime statistics using the World Wide Web. Lincoln's report has already been produced. Vice President Bynum will follow up with Mr. Robinson on the completion of the WEB data collection instruments.

The Philadelphia Tribune 9/15/00 editorial - This editorial focused on the issue of licensing of professional counselors under the new PA Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors Act (Act 136). Mr. Pressley will consult with Dr. Ishtai-Zee and Dr. O'Daniel on a possible response to this article due to the prominent mention of Lincoln's MHS program.

Development & External Relations
The Cabinet was encouraged to utilize the Weekly Newsletter as a means of informing the campus of important matters.

Fiscal Affairs Effective October 1, 2000 responsibility for the operation of the University's mailrooms will be consolidated and assigned to the Human Resources Department. This will allow more efficient use of resources and opportunities to improve service to the University Community.
