Minutes of September 7, 2004 Cabinet meeting were approved.
Academic Affairs
The Academic Deans have been asked to develop a mock schedule of classes
for fall 2005 that does not include the use of Ware Center or University
Hall. It is expected that these two facilities will be off-line for
renovations. The mock schedules will be developed with the assistance
of the Registrar.
The Cabinet approved the name change of the Instructional Media Center to "Academic Technology Support Center" (ATSC). The new name reflects more accurately the current state of technology and the dramatically changed nature of services provided by the Center, and is in line with standard practice nationwide.
Fiscal Affairs
The Lincoln University Payroll Advance Policy has been revised to provide
eligible University employees with funds in the event of unforeseen personal
circumstances. An eligible employee will be permitted only two salary
advances in a 12-month period.
Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
The division was commended for the very fine newsletters recently published
by the Department of Public Safety and the Athletics Department, and distributed
to the campus via electronic mail.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 12:30 p.m.
