September 6, 2005 Cabinet meeting minutes were approved.
Board of Trustees Meeting, September 17, 2005
Cabinet reviewed topics discussed at the Board meeting of September 17, 2005.
Fundraising and campus aesthetics surrounding the possible reinstatement
of a football program at Lincoln University were prominent on the Board agenda.
Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Policy
Cabinet approved the draft AED Policy pending review and approval by the
University’s Risk Management officer. Once cleared by Risk Management,
at least three AED’s will be available; two on the main campus and one at
the Graduate Center in Philadelphia. Only Public Safety Officers, University
Nurses, and others who have been trained/certified in the potential life
waving use of such medical equipment will be authorized users.
Athletic Field Score Board
Cabinet discussed the overall cost of installation of the new Athletic Score
Board acquired through a donation. The office of Development was asked
to look into securing additional funding to cover the cost of installing
the score board.
Lincoln University Student Leadership Conference
President Nelson informed that the Student Leadership Conference organized
by the SGA was very well planned and carried out on Saturday, September 17,
2005. The Conference was well attended and they had participation from
several members of the Lincoln University Board of Trustees. President
Nelson also participated in a session along with SGA President Erica Campbell.
Congratulations to our students for a job well done.

Admission Statistics for Fall 2005 (as of September 14, 2005)
· Received 810 paid deposits for new undergraduate
students
· Registered 697 new undergraduate students with
credits
· Registered 1034 returning undergraduate students
with credits
· Registered 603 graduate students with credits
There being no further business, President Nelson adjourned the meeting at
11:30 a.m.
