$29.4 million Commonwealth Funded Capital Projects - The University has been in constant communication with the Department of General Services in order to advance the process to enable work to begin on the capital projects falling within the scope of the $29.4 million Commonwealth Appropriation. The parties are currently working to try to develop a master plan to coordinate the locations and scheduled construction of the projects.
The Director of Physical Plant and Vice President for Fiscal Affairs recently traveled to Harrisburg to meet with parties involved in the project. They are confident that the process is moving forward.

The September 11, 2001 Faculty meeting will be postponed to September 18, 2001.
Development and External Relations
The Office is working with Senator Arlen Specter's office to coordinate a visit of the Senator to Lincoln University. While on campus the Senator will address students and visit with University Officials.
All campus fire hydrants exceeded requirements when tested recently.
The identification and repair of reported dorm telephone problems has been put on the fast track.
