MINUTES
September 2, 2009, Cabinet
minutes were approved.
PHYSICAL
PLANT BRIEFING
ICC – A preliminary Certificate of Occupancy
inspection will be conducted Thursday, September 3rd. We hope to have the Certificate of Occupancy
in hand after the official inspection on September 15, 2009.
Science
Building – A
condensation leak has been detected and is in the process of being
fixed.
Second Housekeeping Shift - Discussions are underway
to implement a second shift for the housekeeping staff.
PRESIDENT
Results of the “Academic Reputation/Excellence Faculty
Questionnaire 2009” were reviewed by members of the Cabinet.
The “Student Retention and Assessment September 2009 Update”
for Mathematics, Reading,
Writing and Oral Communications was also distributed and discussed.
FISCAL AFFAIRS
The draft “Campus Closings and Work Schedule
Modifications" policy was
reviewed. Members of Cabinet raised
questions which must be considered by the office of human resources
before the
policy can be adopted.
STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT
The 2009 Occupancy Report for the
residence halls shows that our halls are at 99.78% occupancy with four
(4) female
spaces available as of September 4, 2009.
