approved.
PRESIDENT

President Nelson presented draft
Lincoln
University Action Plans for recruitment and admissions; and
Maintenance,
Housekeeping and Campus and Grounds for discussion.
·
The following draft Lincoln University
policies were discussed:
1.
Performance Management and
Evaluation. Approved for
implementation.
2.
Personnel Requisitioning,
Recruitment and
Selection. Tabled pending further information
from Human Resources.
3.
Human Resources Management. Tabled pending further information from Human Resources.
4.
Campus
Closings and Work Schedule Modifications. Tabled until September 8
Cabinet
meeting.

2009 Operating and Capital Budgets. The
President’s Office will publish the budget book the week of September 7
and
distribute to Vice Presidents, Deans, Department Chairs and Directors.
ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
·
H1N1. Cabinet members discussed
the possibility of faculty members putting their lectures on WEB CT so
that they can be available
during the flu season.
FISCAL AFFAIRS
·
Employee Handbook. Dr. Debbie Bullock, Director of Human Resources, presented
each Cabinet
member with a draft copy of the Lincoln University Employee Handbook,
effective
September 1, 2009.
·
University Rental Properties. Vice
President Merlin provided a Rental Property Assessment.
President Nelson asked Interim Vice President
Briggs to develop an RFI on University housing units.
·
FY10 Enrollment Statistics (as of
09.01.09) 2,685.
STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ENROLLMENT
MANAGEMENT
·
Student Handbook.
Interim
Vice President Briggs distributed copies of the 2009-10 Student
Handbook to
members of Cabinet.
·
Enrollment Report. President Nelson asked Vice President Briggs to include
900+ SAT in enrollment
reports and to provide the male/female ratio.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further
business, President Nelson adjourned the meeting at 11:45 a.m.
