Minutes of August 7, 2007 Cabinet meeting were approved.
Physical Plant and
Information Technology Briefing
University Hall & Ware
Center - We have not yet
received
Certificates of Occupancy for University Hall and Ware Center. However we expect to be in receipt of
certificates for both buildings by the end of September.
Computers and networking equipment should be
installed by September, however, language lab equipment must still be
purchased.
NOTE: Discussions will be held with faculty affected by the
delay to determine how soon classes will be moved into the facilities
once all
certificates are received and all furniture and fixtures are in place.
Mary Dod Brown Chapel
- Except for the construction of the ramp, work on the Mary Dod
Brown
Chapel is expected to be complete by mid-September.
International Cultural Center (ICC) - The
last permit has been
approved for the International Cultural Center (ICC).
Campus Fencing - Installation
of the campus periphery fencing should be complete by Thursday, August
16th.
Datatel – The
following schedule has been established for going live in the different
areas:

Admissions – Labor Day

Financial Aid – February 1, 2008
·
Registrar, Billing & Residence
Life – Late
March 2008
Horace Mann
Bond-Leslie Pinckney Hill Scholarship Recipient
Lincoln
alumnus, Chantelle Matthew has been awarded the Horace Mann Bond-Leslie
Pinckney Hill Scholarship for graduate study in the Master of Public
Administration program at Penn State Harrisburg. The
scholarship will cover tuition,
tuition-required fees and books, commencing with the fall semester of
2007 and
concluding with the completion of the spring semester of 2009.
Academic Affairs
Vice President Venerable reported that the search for
Director of the Library is in the selection phase.
