Physical Plant Update - Work on all projects on the summer 2001 priority list has begun. Renovation of Lucy Laney Hall will be completed in time for student occupancy in the fall. Additional items added to the list include installation of platform and cabinets in Wright Hall and repairs to Foster House.
Board of Trustees Meeting - The next meeting of the Board will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2001 on Lincoln's campus. All matters concerning preparation for the meeting should be coordinated through Ms. Diane Brown.
VICE PRESIDENTS REPORTS/ACTION
Leadership in the division is looking at low enrollment courses to determine whether the courses will be offered.
The updated University Catalogue should be available on the University's web site by the time students return to campus.
Development and External Relations
As of August 8, 2001, Lincoln has secured 12 pledges of $25,000 and 18 pledges of $10,000 from individuals. For the immediate future, the focus on increasing alumni giving will continue.
Priorities for fund raising include the Ware Center and science building renovations.
Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SAEM)
The University is continuing to pursue the privatized housing project. Visits will be scheduled to sites developed by those contractors still in contention for the project.
