MINUTES
The
August 2, 2011 Cabinet minutes were approved as presented.
MSCHE Monitoring
Report
Cabinet discussed suggested revisions to the Draft
Monitoring Report to better demonstrate that the goals articulated by Middle States
have been achieved. Dean Thomas was
asked to discuss the issues with the writing team so that the appropriate
revisions are reflected in the report.
2011-12 Operating Budget
Details of the draft 2011-12 Operating Budget were
discussed. President Nelson asked the
vice presidents to resubmit their proposed budgets in accordance with his
previous request to budget for a reduction in total spending.
FY12 Title III Awards
Lincoln University will receive a FY12 Title III Award in
the amount of $2,014,846, which represents a 17% reduction from the FY11 award
of $2,421,964.
The University’s FY12 SAFRA award of $827,676 represents a
4% decrease in funding when compared to the $861,996 FY11 award.
