MINUTES
The
July 19, 2011, Cabinet minutes were approved as presented.
PRESIDENT
In accordance with the request of the Educational Policy and
Academic Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees, President Nelson asked
Dean Thomas to contact the external reviewer of the University’s Monitoring
Report to MSCHE to ascertain her availability to participate in a
teleconference with the Committee.
President Nelson distributed copies of a draft “Lincoln
University Distance Learning Policy.”
The Deans were asked to review the document and provide their comments
and/or suggested revisions.
ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
The Draft Faculty Conference
Agenda was presented by the Deans for review.
President Nelson would like all faculty members to receive a copy of the
Draft Monitoring Report, along with the accompanying disk, prior to the Faculty
Conference.
ADJOURNMENT
There
being no further business, President
Nelson adjourned the meeting at 11:00 a.m.
