President’s Cabinet Meeting

Appointment of Special Police Officer - On July 11, 2001, the Court of Common Pleas of Chester County decreed that Jansen M. Robinson is appointed police officer with the powers of a police officer in this Commonwealth, in and upon, and in the immediate and adjacent vicinity of the property of Lincoln University.  L.U. Security Officer's/Police training will take place the week of July 23-27, 2001.

Title III Funding - Technology conversion is to be included in the proposal for the next 5-year funding period.

National Science Foundation Awards - President Nelson is very much in support of faculty seeking major grants for science and technology at Lincoln.  Faculty are to be encouraged to pursue grants of this nature as well as other major grants that support the University's mission and goals.


Fiscal Affairs
 LU American Express Cardholders must adhere to travel policy guidelines.  Any exceptions must be documented with a written explanation.

The L.U. Safety Committee will be asked to report to the Cabinet on Committee activities and any issues encountered by the Committee.

Academic Affairs
Planning is currently underway for the Faculty Conference scheduled for August 22-23, 2001.
