Project 1101-28 Increase Generation: Chris Morris, our Project Manager has set up a meeting this week with DGS, a consultant, the professional to develop our path forward now that we have full load readings and we know our demands.
Project 1101-32 Vail Hall: We have started abatement on the glazing where the window A/C units will be removed. Work is proceeding.
Projects 1101-39 (Grimm) 1101-43 (Wright) and 1101-44 (Library):  The safety fence is scheduled to be installed this week. The contractors will mobilize over the next 2 weeks.
Project 1101-47: The contractors are beginning to work on the lay-out and building location. Because this project is starting before the Landscape project, some erosion control steps must be taken ahead of time to meet the erosion control requirements.
Projects 1101-45 (Landscape) and 1101-46 (Athletics): The award letters have been sent to the apparent winners and DGS is awaiting their approvals.

Currently, we plan on having the following assignments:
1.      1101-28-3 Additional Generator = J. Thompson & Chris Morris
2.      1101-32 = J. Thompson
3.      1101-38 (roof repairs) = Joe Urban
4.      1101-39, 43, 44, = Gerry Davis & Joe Urban
5.      1101-45, 46 = Chris Morris & Horticultural Manager (funded position)
6.      1101-47 = Jim Teal

Swing space Modular’s for the Vail and the Lincoln Hall project are planned to be set.  We are adding a unit to the 7 plex (formally known as the 6 plex) which will change the design and require a new permit. I’m working with the Township to make this happen quickly.
The Library Collection move is complete. A special thanks to everyone who made this possible.

John Thompson
Director Physical Plant.

Notices of the work projects undertaken in the residence halls over the summer months will be posted in the residence halls for the information of the student body.
