June 27, 2005 Cabinet meeting minutes were approved.
Campus Housing Policy
It is the policy of Lincoln University to provide only short-term employee
housing for no more than two years.
Fiscal Affairs
Campus Bookstore
Follet, the new Bookstore contractor, has been on campus preparing the bookstore
for operating hours. The Bookstore, which has a new look and new and
different merchandise, is now open. Major renovations to the space
have not been undertaken due to the planned renovation of the Student Union
Building beginning spring 2006.
Development and External Relations
Graduate Center
Vice President Hill reported on some changes as the Graduate Center, including
improvement in the general physical state of the building. There are
still various matters requiring attention at this time, including the availability
of classroom space. The scheduling of classes on Saturday must be closely
reviewed in order to accommodate, as much as possible, the different programs
which hold classes on that day.
Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
New Student Residence Hall
The date of August 21st has been established as the move in date for students
assigned to the new residence hall.
Phase II of the new residence is on schedule to open in summer 2006.
