2001-02 Operating and Capital Budgets - The 2001-02 budgets were approved by the Board of Trustees at a special meeting on June 28, 2001.  Copies of the approved budgets will be placed in the Langston Hughes Memorial Library and distributed to all department chairs and directors.

Automated University Telephone Answering System - The new automated answering system for the University is to be in place by July 16, 2001.

Grounds Maintenance - The Physical Plant was asked to clear the dead trees from areas of the campus where students and/or property may be at risk.

Development and External Relations
In the coming year, President Nelson expects to see an increase in the amount of time on his schedule committed to development matters.

Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SAEM)
Financial Aid Services will provide another staff person to provide leadership in the area of financial aid beginning July 16, 2001.
